Day 3 of 30

Fix the Leaking CRM

Listen (about 3 minutes), or read below.Amber Pember, in her own words.

Welcome back to Day Three of 30 Days to a Smarter Growth System.

Yesterday, you traced one lead from the first touch to the next action.

Today, let us talk about the place where many good leads go to disappear.

The CRM.

A CRM can be one of the most valuable systems in your business.

Or it can become a graveyard.

Bad data.

Duplicate records.

Missing notes.

No timeline.

No next step.

Contacts spread across multiple systems that disagree with each other.

That is not a CRM problem. That is a maintenance and operating-rhythm problem.

So today, choose twenty contacts and clean them up.

For each one, make sure you know who they are, why they matter, when you last spoke, what stage they belong in, and what happens next.

Delete or archive the obvious junk.

Add the missing context.

And make sure every real opportunity has a next action and date.

Then look for one piece of information you wish you had on every contact. Maybe timing. Maybe property type. Maybe business size. Maybe seller motivation. Maybe source.

Add that field or start capturing it consistently.

Your system gets smarter when your data gets cleaner.

For today\'s outreach, use the cleanup as an excuse to reconnect. Send five thoughtful emails or messages to people who belong in your active network. Call the strongest few and update the record immediately after the conversation.

A CRM is useful only when it is current, connected, and able to tell you the next move.

Today, make yours a little more useful.

TomorrowTomorrow we are getting follow-up out of your head and into a repeatable rule, because your memory should never be your nurture system.
