Day 4 of 30

Follow-Up Should Run on Rules

Welcome back to Day Four of 30 Days to a Smarter Growth System.

Yesterday, you cleaned up the CRM.

Today, we are fixing one of the biggest reasons leads go cold.

Follow-up that depends on memory.

If your system is, "I will remember to call them," that is not a system.

And busy brokers are especially vulnerable to this because the moment a live client, showing, valuation, negotiation, or closing demands attention, nurture work disappears.

So today, I want you to create one simple follow-up rule.

Use this structure:

Trigger.

Timing.

Useful message.

Stop condition.

Task for you.

For example, the trigger may be a new inquiry.

The timing may be three days later.

The useful message might be one question, one relevant market note, or one piece of information tied to what they told you.

The stop condition could be a reply, an opt-out, a booked call, or becoming a client.

And the task for you is what happens when the prospect needs a human conversation.

Write one rule today for a lead type you receive frequently.

Then use it.

Follow up with at least five warm contacts using something useful instead of "just checking in."

The goal is not to automate relationships.

The goal is to automate the things that keep you from maintaining more of them.

TomorrowTomorrow we solve an even simpler leak: the people you meet in person who never make it into your system at all.
